On November 5, your vote on local issues matters. Let’s look onward to a brighter future.
Students deserve a quality education in safe schools.
School vouchers take funds away from public schools. Public schools offer children with disabilities programs that privately funded schools can't. Moving towards privatizing our children's schools is dangerous, as education is a great equalizer in society and gives every child the chance to thrive. Children don't have a choice in their backgrounds, and public schooling empowers them to have a choice in their future. I also support continuing education programs. Investing in education empowers us with knowledge and skills for life. Safe schools are schools free of gun violence.
Healthcare is a human right.
It is dignified, it increases quality of life, no one is left out, and it promotes the economy through a healthy and thriving workforce empowered to do more. I support reproductive freedoms and access to quality mental healthcare.
Our land and natural resources
Indigenous people have been stewards of the land since time immemorial. Their input should be heeded. Protecting and preserving our land and natural resources is our legacy and an investment in our future quality of life. There is no place like Idaho, and there is no planet B. Clean air, water, and soil are assets and investments for all of us.
Idahoans need a robust economy where all can prosper.
Fair taxation as well as investing in clean energy, infrastructure, and agriculture lifts the economy. We should not create tax loopholes for the wealthy while there are Idahoans working hard and still struggling the most. Clean energy is an investment financially and an investment in our environment. Feeding people is a crucial and indispensable job, so we need to invest in agriculture. A living wage, affordable housing, and the right to unionize serve to empower our workforce.
“Y’all means all”
Liberty, justice, and equal rights are for all, no matter who you are or where you come from. I support Add the Words for LGBT+ human rights in Idaho, farm workers' rights, and want to advocate for those who struggle the most in society. The way forward is for all of us!
